Supervision
Clinical supervision and case consultation for therapists building an eating disorder and anxiety practice.
All servicesSupervision here is practical. We work case by case: what is happening in the room, what the treatment model says to do next, and how to hold both when they pull in different directions.
Dr. Malka Sears completed her internship at New York University/Bellevue Hospital Center and a two-year fellowship at the Mount Sinai Eating and Weight Disorders Program, and supervises clinicians working with eating disorders, ARFID, anxiety, and body image. Common ground includes running FBT with a family that is struggling to take charge, delivering CBT-E from assessment through relapse prevention, designing exposures that people will actually do, and recognising when medical risk calls for a higher level of care.
Supervision can be individual or in a small group, ongoing or time-limited around a single case. Requirements for licensure vary by state and setting — tell us what you need to document, and we will say plainly whether we can provide it.
