Individual Therapy

One-to-one work with a psychologist, built around what you want to change and paced to what you can take on.

All services

Individual therapy is a regular, protected hour with a clinician who knows your history and your goals. The first sessions are spent building a clear picture — what brought you in, what you have already tried, and what a better week would actually look like. From there you and your therapist agree on a focus and a plan, and revisit both as things change.

The work is active. Most people leave a session with something to practise between appointments — tracking a pattern, testing a prediction, trying a response they would usually avoid — because that is where much of the change happens. Your therapist matches the method to the problem in front of you rather than applying one approach to everything.

We work with children, adolescents, and adults. With younger clients, parents are involved as closely as is useful — sometimes weekly, sometimes at agreed checkpoints — and we are clear from the start about what gets shared and what stays in the room.
