This website is not treatment
Everything on this site — including the blog, the FAQs, and the descriptions of our services — is general information, not psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Reading it does not create a therapist–client relationship, and neither does sending us a message or scheduling a consultation. That relationship begins only once you and a clinician here have agreed in writing to start care.
In an emergency
This site is not monitored around the clock and cannot be used for urgent matters. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.
Where we can practice
Our clinicians are licensed in New Jersey and New York and may provide telehealth to clients physically located in those states and in PSYPACT participating states. Information on this site is not an offer to provide services anywhere we are not authorized to practice.
No guaranteed outcome
Therapy outcomes vary from person to person. Descriptions of evidence-based treatments on this site describe approaches supported by research; they are not a promise of any particular result for you.
Content and ownership
The text, images, logo, and design of this site are owned by Center for Evidence Based Psychology, LLC or used with permission. You may read, print, and share pages for your own personal use. Please don’t republish, sell, or adapt the content without our written permission.
